Overview
KaliMai Charitable Trust is committed to maintaining the highest standards of transparency and trust with our donors. This refund policy outlines the terms and conditions regarding donations made to our organization.
Donation Processing
All donations are processed securely through our payment gateway. Once a donation is successfully processed and confirmed, it is considered final. Donors will receive a confirmation email with transaction details and a tax receipt.
Refund Eligibility
Refunds may be considered in the following circumstances:
- Duplicate transactions or accidental double charges
- Technical errors during the payment process
- Unauthorized transactions (fraud)
- Payment processing errors on our end
Refund Timeline
Refund requests must be submitted within 2 days of the original donation. Once a valid refund request is approved, the refund will be processed to the original payment method within 5-10 business days.
Non-Refundable Donations
The following donations are generally non-refundable as they represent intentional charitable contributions:
- Regular charitable donations
- Recurring/subscription donations
- Donations made more than 30 days ago
- Donations for specific programs or campaigns
How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please follow these steps: 1. Contact us at kalimaitrust@gmail.com with your donation details 2. Proof of the deduction of the donation amount. 3. In case where the donation receipt has already been issued to the donor, the donor will have to return the original receipt to us at our office addresses. 4. If the tax exemption certificate is already issued, then we are sorry, but we will not be able to refund the donation. 5. International donations will need minimum 10 days for the refund process.
